Vintage Report
2023 was an excellent vintage for Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, rated 92-94 points by Robert Parker (barrel score). Conditions were very favorable, resulting in wines with great potential.
Perhaps Woodbridge's finest red wine. Distinctive, exuberant, but above all, incredibly delicious. It's pure enjoyment, from the first sip to the very last drop. A Cabernet Sauvignon at its finest. It's no surprise, then, that Robert Mondavi is the driving force behind Woodbridge. This pioneer in Californian viticulture wanted to produce wines for everyone, for every day. Since their launch, Woodbridge wines have been immensely popular worldwide.
The vineyards full of Cabernet Sauvignon
Robert Mondavi made his name with Cabernet Sauvignon. He founded the Robert Mondavi Winery in Napa Valley in 1966. Thanks to his innovations and developments, Mondavi wines conquered the world. Chardonnay, of course, was one of them, but it was especially the Cabernet Sauvignon wines that became immensely popular. This is his strength. Because the vines for Cabernet Sauvignon are located in sunny California, they have everything they need to develop exceptionally well. For example, it can get quite warm during the day. However, it can cool down considerably in the evenings thanks to the nearby ocean. The aroma and taste of Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon
Believe it or not, Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon has everything it takes to become a perfect wine. A successful red wine, which has everything for a pleasant drink. The full bunches of Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested by hand. This allows the winemakers to apply stricter selection; after all, only the finest grapes are allowed to be part of this Woodbridge. The juice then undergoes several months of oak aging. This gives Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon complexity. The aroma is generous and expressive. You can't stop smelling this wine: cassis and blackberries, but also toast, vanilla, and spices. Every time you swirl Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon through your bottle, you're surprised by new notes. Our mouths are already watering. When you take a sip, you're amazed. The wine crawls over your taste buds. Distinctive aromas linger in your cheeks. You taste so much: cassis, nuts, and soft plums. The finish has a lot of depth with notes of chocolate, caramel and cedar wood.Product details
