Barefoot wines truly reached great heights in 1986 when visionary entrepreneurs Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey took over. They honored the name and gave the label a footprint, a kind of thanks to California winemaker Davis Bynum. The vineyards have since matured considerably, and the winemakers have dedicated considerable time to nurturing the grapes. As a result, Barefoot's vintages are truly fantastic, and you can taste that in this beautiful red wine. For several years now, Barefoot wines have been made by female winemaker Jennifer Wall.
