Perhaps the best-selling wine from Bodegas LAN. This winery was founded in 1972 in the heart of the Rioja region. It's an abbreviation of the three provinces that make up the Rioja region: La Rioja, Alvesa, and Navarra. Bodegas LAN is a winery that, especially in its early years, focused strongly on quality wines from this beautiful Spanish wine region. The Reserva designation is a legal designation. The requirements are strict: red wines must be aged for at least 36 months, at least 12 of which in oak. Bodegas LAN's vineyards are vast and expansive in the rugged Rioja region. This red wine is a true Spanish gem: three indigenous grape varieties contribute to the sublime LAN Rioja Reserva. Tempranillo naturally plays a role, but the moderate Garnacha and the distinctive Mazuelo also feature in this glass of Spanish wine.
