The Marques de Riscal winery is one of the oldest in Rioja. Over the years, the winery has grown internationally and has won numerous awards and recognitions. This also guarantees the quality of this specific Rioja wine. This wine is made entirely from the Tempranillo grape, a grape of which the Spanish are very proud. Thanks to its long history, the winery possesses some of the most coveted vineyards in the region. The vines are positioned to optimally benefit from the warm sun. When the grapes are fully ripe and have developed their desired characteristics, the grapes are harvested entirely by hand. Once arrived at the winery, the grapes are rigorously sorted and destemmed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, and finally, the wine is aged for 24 months in American oak. This allows the Rioja Reserva to develop its distinctive aroma and flavor.
