The Cazal Viel vineyards are located in an area near the Caroux Mountains. The Mediterranean climate, combined with extensive soil knowledge, allows Laurent to care for and protect the vines without the use of chemicals. Laurent's philosophy is to create wines that truly reflect the character and complexity of the region. Only superior grapes possess the potential to produce these exceptional Laurent Miquel wines.
The grapes are carefully picked and selected. The wine ferments under controlled temperatures to preserve the fruit as much as possible. The result is a delicious red wine. This Selection Cazal Viel Rouge has aromas of ripe and fresh red and black fruit with hints of spice, making it very exciting. The palate is soft and abundant with red fruit on the first palate. On the back of the tongue, we detected small berries, light spices, and some warm cherry nuances. The finish is smooth and refreshing.
