This Pipoli rosé wine is made from the Aglianico grape, a grape that lends itself perfectly to full-bodied red wines, but certainly also to good rosés. The grapes for this Basilicata wine grow peacefully in the vineyards of Vigneti del Vulture. Due to the extensive pruning in the vineyards, the grape yield is lower than average, but the quality is much higher. This certainly benefits this rosé. At the perfect ripeness of the Aglianico grapes, they are harvested in the early morning while the grapes are still dormant. This early harvest makes the skins more resistant to any bruising on the way to the winery.
