Our Review

This Spanish Albariño truly excels with its delicious, crystal-clear minerality. The wine has a lovely tension and a remarkably long finish that remains beautifully crisp and fresh. A very well-crafted and precise glass that perfectly showcases what this grape has to offer.
Quincy van Gils Quincy
Albariño wine is currently the latest sensation among Spanish wines. This white wine, originating from northwestern Spain, is rapidly gaining popularity. The Albariño grape has a unique character that makes this wine popular with a wide audience.

Albariño wine from Spain

Albariño wine comes from the far northwest of Spain, specifically the Galicia region, bordering Portugal. This region differs significantly from the well-known Costas in eastern Spain. The landscape here is green, rugged, and wet, more reminiscent of Ireland than Spain. Although Spanish wines have existed for centuries, viticulture in Galicia only began in the second half of the last century. Local winemakers saw potential in the Albariño grape, and it now ranks among the top Spanish wines.

Pazo Señorans: Expertise in Albariño wines

Pazo Señorans is a renowned winery in Galicia specializing in Albariño wines since the 1980s. Marisol Bueno and Javier Mareque decided to dedicate their vineyard entirely to the Albariño grape. Their first harvest took place in 1990, and they have produced top-quality wines every year since then. Today, the winery is run by their four children: Marisol, Vicky, Javier, and Santiago, who continue the tradition and elevate the wines to new heights.

Buy Pazo Señorans Albariño wine

Pazo Señorans' Albariño grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected in the vineyard. The grapes are then brought to the winery where the vinification process begins. After fermentation, the wine is aged for at least five months on its lees, which creates a rich flavor. The result is a beautiful Albariño wine with a lush bouquet of ripe pear, tropical peach, and crisp grapefruit. The characteristic mineral notes linger, making this wine a refreshing choice that perfectly expresses the typical aromas and flavors of Albariño.
