This wine comes from vineyards north of Verona, in the heart of the expansive Valpolicella region. There, the Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes grow to become some of the region's finest. But that doesn't happen by itself, says Mr. Pasqua, because hard work in the vineyards is required to make the grapes shine. Today, this beautiful winery is still family-owned, and the passion for winemaking has been passed down from father to son for generations. The love for Valpolicella is immense, as it still produces world-class wines like Amarone.
