Vintage Report
The 2023 vintage in Languedoc is highly rated with a score of 94 points on the Robert Parker scale. This indicates a year of excellent quality for the wines produced.
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this red wine from Les Jamelles come from four carefully selected terroirs. Each terroir gives the wine unique characteristics. The Narbonne region enriches the wine, the Aude River plain provides length and structure, and finally, the slopes of the Orb Valley contribute to the velvety tannins, richness, and complexity. A blend of these four terroirs has resulted in an elegant and complex Cabernet Sauvignon with a beautiful length on the palate.
The secret of Les Jamelles wines
Founded in 1991, the Jamelles winery has established itself both nationally and internationally with its unique, handcrafted wines. The quality is exceptionally high, thanks in part to the unparalleled craftsmanship of its enthusiastic winemakers. The two young winemakers, Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, are the fourth generation at the helm. What makes this family unique is their use of different terroirs, uniquely combining the unique characteristics of each vineyard. This results in each wine being unique and of exceptionally high quality. The secret of Les Jamelles wines lies in the diversity of terroirs. The finest grapes are harvested from different terroirs, combining them to create a unique, high-quality wine. Each one is a true classic of the world-famous Les Jamelles winery. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested. They are then completely destemmed at the winery. This is followed by maceration under controlled temperatures. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in tanks for approximately six months. A small portion of the cuvée is aged in oak barrels.Enjoy the elegant Cabernet Sauvignon
Les Jamelles Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful deep red color and reveals aromas of red fruit such as blackcurrant and strawberry. This aroma is combined with notes of pepper and spicy flavors of cinnamon, mint, and honey. The finish is subtle, with a subtle oaky note. The tannins are soft and silky.Product details
