One of the world's most beloved wines, now available in a white version. This top-notch white comes from the prestigious Quiot estate, a pioneer in winemaking in the Southern Rhône. The estate acquired its first vineyards in 1749 in, yes, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This means that this winemaking family, which spans 13 generations, has been active in this beloved part of the Rhône for over 250 years.

Many different grape varieties are used for Rhone wines, and this is also true for Combes d'Arnevels Chateauneuf du Pape White. Four grape varieties are used, each bringing out the best in the other. Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Roussanne are not nearly as well-known as the French Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc varieties, but they certainly produce beautiful wines. In fact, this Combes d'Arnevels Chateauneuf du Pape White is the crown jewel of Quiot's winemaker, who has perfectly translated the power of the Southern Rhone into a fine glass of white wine.

The grapes are fermented separately. This is done in stainless steel, except for the Roussanne, which is fermented and aged in oak barrels. Combes d'Arnevels Chateauneuf du Pape White is then aged for a while on the lees (sur lie). This makes the white wine much softer and more elegant. Only a small portion is aged in oak. However, this is immediately noticeable in the aroma, which reveals itself with notes of white flowers, lemon, peach, and hazelnut. You can recognize a Chateauneuf du Pape in everything. The aroma is ripe, plump, and refined. Plenty of white fruit and flowers unfold around your taste buds. A soft nutty character completes the finish of Combes d'Arnevels Chateauneuf du Pape White.
