The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

When you think of wine, you think of Bordeaux. And when you mention the Bordeaux wine region, you automatically think of Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Despite having passed away over thirty years ago, this wine pioneer still brings a smile to the faces of hundreds of wine drinkers every day. Even if you're not a wine enthusiast, this name won't be unfamiliar; he was active in motor racing for several years and is also a scion of the world-famous Rothschild dynasty.

The story of Baron de Philippe de Rothschild begins in the 1920s. He took over the family business founded by his grandfather, Baron Nathaniel. With his knowledge of his ancestors and entrepreneurial spirit, he ensured that Rothschild became one of the most respected names in the wine world. The winery made waves worldwide. Rothschild also owns prestigious vineyards in Chile and California. However, the grapes for Baron Philippe de Rothschild Bordeaux come from Rothschild's home turf: Bordeaux. The three classic grape varieties from this region—Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot—produce an excellent red wine.

An impressive red wine from Bordeaux. Pure, without frills. With this wine, Baron Philippe de Rothschild aims to demonstrate that the power of wine needs no embellishment. Three distinctive grapes are expertly blended by Rothschild's talented winemaker. The result is breathtaking. You smell a clear bouquet of red fruit. But dig into a glass of Baron Philippe de Rothschild Bordeaux again. You'll also discover wild blueberries and fresh blueberries. The palate is surprisingly juicy. A tsunami of fruit washes over your tongue. Bursting with black fruit and velvety tannins. Pure Rothschild craftsmanship.
