Vintage Report
The 2009 vintage for white wines from Trentino-Alto Adige received an excellent score of 92 points from Robert Parker. Please note: the wine has now reached 'C' (Caution) status, indicating that it may be starting to get too old and should be drunk immediately.
A unique feature in the Ferrari winery's collection. While the vision of Giulio Ferrari, the winery's founder, focused primarily on Chardonnay, this sparkling wine is produced using only the finest Chardonnay grapes. However, Chardonnay remains one of the most important grapes in Champagne, a product Giulio held in awe. This allows Ferrari Trento Riserva Lunelli to compete effectively with many Champagne houses.
The production of Trento Riserva Lunelli
Harvesting is done manually. This is the only way to ensure strict enough selection of the grapes. Only the finest grapes are considered for Trento Riserva Lunelli. The grapes are pressed, and only the skins are removed immediately. This prevents the juice from browning. A special feature of this Ferrari Trento Riserva Lunelli is that it's a vintage. This means all the grapes come from a single harvest year. This also means that Ferrari Trento Riserva Lunelli is only produced in exceptionally good years. A truly special glass of sparkling wine! The scent and taste of Trento Riserva Lunelli
All that effort is more than worth it. Enjoyment with a capital "E." A deliciously toasted aroma and flavor immediately translate to the sublime quality of Ferrari Trento Riserva Lunelli. The aroma reveals distinct notes of toasted bread, brioche flowers, and ripe, yellow fruit. The taste is a true sensation. A mousse that impressed our oenologists. So soft, almost ultimate perfection. The soft fruit combined with the powerful and vibrant character makes Ferrari Trento Riserva Lunelli a sparkling wine you won't easily forget.Product details
