In the heart of the Valle de Uco in Mendoza, Argentina, the Alpasión Grand Cabernet Franc is born. This extraordinary gem, crafted by Alpasión's dedicated team, demonstrates how the Cabernet Franc grape comes to life in the region's unique environment.

Quality wines from Alpasion

At an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level, the vineyards thrive under perfect conditions, with cool nights and warm days contributing to the growth of ripe red and black fruits, with hints of fresh green pepper and herbs. This wine brings together the best of both worlds, where tradition and innovation converge in every sip. At Alpasión, respect for nature is clearly evident throughout the winemaking process. For the Cabernet Franc, the grapes are harvested entirely by hand, and each berry is carefully selected to ensure only the very best quality. The grapes then ferment in small concrete vats with natural yeasts. This allows the true flavors and aromas of the Cabernet Franc grapes to be preserved. Finally, the wine is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. This creates a wine with complex flavors of toasted oak and a hint of spice. This warmth is not overpowering, ensuring the wine retains its fresh and fruity taste.
