The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Driving through the California landscape, you'll be constantly surprised by the stunning scenery. Heading towards Napa, the heart of California's finest wine region, the iconic Silverado Trail is highly recommended. Numerous well-known and lesser-known homes line this road. Stop when you see the statue of a large black stallion. That's right, Black Stallion is located here. It's housed in a former riding stable, the Silverado Horseman's Center. In its heyday, it could accommodate more than 3,000 people.

Napa Valley has been known for its exquisite wines for decades. This is partly due to its excellent climate. Daytime temperatures can be exceptionally warm thanks to the Californian sun. However, nights cool down considerably. The ocean has a significant influence on this. The Delicato family recognized the potential of this region as early as the beginning of the last century. They have significantly expanded this potential with the addition of several vineyards. The Black Stallion vineyard is the latest addition to their phenomenal portfolio.

Black Stallion shows its best side with this incomparable Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a truly perfect wine in every respect. According to our oenologists, this Black Stallion Cabernet Sauvignon is truly the cream of the crop. Cabernet Sauvignon enthusiasts will fall in love with the aroma alone. You smell black currants and other dark fruits. The superb oak aging is beautifully expressed in vanilla, spices, and toast. The palate is full-bodied. A tsunami of refined flavors washes over your tongue. Juicy dark fruit meets intense oak. Black Stallion Cabernet Sauvignon is therefore the perfect pairing with red meat.
