Vintage Report
The 2020 vintage for Chianti Classico received an excellent score of 90 points. Wines from this vintage are currently still youthful and tannic.
Chianti Classico Tenuta Perano originates from the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, cultivated from vineyards at an altitude of 500 meters. The south-southwest exposure and the amphitheater-shaped vineyard maximize sun exposure and concentrate its heat. The combination of altitude, exposure, and the shape of the vineyard and its slope creates an exceptionally unique blend, resulting in a brilliant purple wine with intense fruity aromas and a superb, elegant structure.
Wood bearing for the Tenuta Perano Chianti classico
All the grapes are harvested by hand for this red wine, each bunch carefully inspected to ensure only the finest juice is obtained. The harvest is superb, and all of Italy is envious of the quality of Tenuta Perano. At ideal ripeness, the grapes are harvested, and then some of the juice is aged in oak barrels. To preserve the freshness, the rest of the wine is aged in steel barrels, and all of this is later blended. The Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico by Frescobaldi is born, and we can now enjoy this masterpiece. The smell and taste of the
Tenuta Perano stands out with its bright purple color. The bouquet alternates floral aromas with notes of wild berries and cherries. Balsamic nuances and a subtle spice complete the unique character. The freshness and tannins add a touch of surprise to the palate, while powerful notes of black fruit create a warm mouthfeel. Later, the palate begins to celebrate, with a richness of spice, vanilla, and cedar, along with a touch of chocolate.Product details
