Well, we can thank the producer of this fabulous red wine, because this Veneto red wine is truly fantastic. Our oenologists predict it will conquer the Netherlands. The driving force behind this red wine is the Botter family business. Founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter, it has since transformed into one of the most important wineries in Northern Italy. Botter has achieved particular acclaim for its Veneto wines. The winery is still owned by the Botter family. It is currently led by the third generation, Armaldo Botter.

An Appassimento technique for this Rosso Veneto IGT

A unique technique is used for this Rosso Veneto IGT wine. First, the harvest takes place late in the season, often as late as early October. After harvesting, the grape bunches are dried for fifteen days. During this period, they lose a significant amount of moisture, sometimes as much as half. However, what remains is of exceptional quality. The type that gives Rosso Veneto its concentrated, unique flavor. After fermentation, this red wine undergoes a light oak aging of three to four months. The oak aging is short, so the Rosso Veneto retains its pleasant aroma and flavor.
