We can be brief. The name says it all. This PRIMO is truly excellent! I've rarely found a name so apt. And at this price? We had to blink twice to see if we were reading it correctly. If you taste this Italian wine blind, you'll hardly believe it deserves this price. A superb achievement by the Farnese winery. The many hours of labor in the vineyards where the Sangiovese and Merlot grapes grow carefree create perfect conditions for producing a superb red wine. The warm weather is also crucial for the perfect grapes!

This PRIMO wine is made of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Merlot. An excellent balance, in our opinion. Sangiovese is known for being a crowd-pleaser. It pairs well with a variety of grape varieties. This PRIMO Sangiovese Merlot Farnese is no exception. The wine has character yet remains smooth to drink. A very accessible wine from Farnese. Anyone will be convinced of its quality the moment you pour it. You'll instantly fall in love with this winery. Red fruit dominates the notes: strawberries and cherries. Spices subtly linger in the background along with the cedarwood. The finish is silky smooth and bursting with beautiful flavors.
