The 2022 vintage in Argentina is characterized by excellent quality with a Parker score of 95. The wines from this year are currently still powerful and youthful, indicating significant aging potential.

A unique grape, perfectly executed by Bodega Salentein. This leading winery is located in Valle de Uco, a wine region in Argentina. The wines exude Argentina's character, but this magnificent winery has a Dutch foundation. The winery was founded by Mijnert Pon, a Dutch entrepreneur through and through. In 1992, he changed tack and built the impressive Bodega Salentein winery. The estate encompasses over 2,000 hectares, almost half of which are planted with grapes.

From Cabernet Franc to a fantastic red wine

Numina means the soul of the vineyard. The vines of the El Oasis vineyard, where the Cabernet Franc grapes grow, are among the oldest on the Salentein estate. This allows the vineyard's character to develop exceptionally well in the aroma and flavor of Salentein Numina Cabernet Franc. Harvesting is done by hand. This method allows for stricter selection, which is a crucial requirement. Only the finest grapes are considered for Salentein Numina Cabernet Franc.

A prize winner from Salentein

This red wine is considered one of the finest Bodegas Salentein wines. It's not always available, as production is very low by Argentine standards. But if you do get the chance to open this beautiful bottle, savor it thoroughly. The nose reveals elegance: blackcurrant and cherry, but also blueberries and a hint of black pepper. Skillful noses reveal complex nuances of chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of anise. You can hardly wait to take a sip of Salentein Numina Cabernet Franc. Wow, wow, wow. We were lost for words when we tasted this red wine. A wide palette of flavors unfolds: black fruit, cedar, spices, and tobacco. A distinct note of vanilla betrays the 16 months of oak aging.
