Bodegas Anadas Cariñena Care Trio Red

Care wines are characterized by their artistic labels. Each one is a small work of art by artist Enrique Torrijo. Each label beautifully depicts the wine. Care is a true family business, dating back to 1932 when Mr. Anadas discovered the beautiful landscape of the Cariñena region. This was the place where he wanted to produce the finest and most affordable wines. Whether this mission would succeed was initially uncertain, but almost a century later, we can confidently say that Mr. Anadas's motto has been achieved.

A blend of three different grapes

One of the best-selling wines in the Care series is this Care Trio Red Blend. The name already reveals that this red wine is a blend of three different grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, and Syrah. The vineyards for this red Trio Blend are located at an altitude of over 600 meters and are now quite mature. This explains the high quality of the grapes, rich in deep flavors. The vineyards do require considerable attention, however. Pruning is extensive and must be carefully maintained to ensure that nutrients are channeled as much as possible to the grapes, rather than to the leaves. As the end of the growing season approaches, the harvest begins at the appropriate ripeness. Each variety ripens differently, which can vary by days to a week. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand to select only the finest fruit for pressing. After the separate vinification of each grape variety is completed, the final blend is created. A precise job, but Care's winemaker is certainly capable of it. Once bottled, the wine matures for several months in Care's cellars for greater flexibility.

The taste of this Care Trio Red Blend

And then, after a long wait, the moment has arrived. We're going to taste this delicious red wine. This beautiful family wine has certainly piqued our interest. Pouring this red blend reveals a beautiful ruby-red wine with a slightly purple core. On the nose, we noted lovely hints of berries and blackberries, as well as light spice and a hint of toffee. The palate of this Care Trio Red is rich and smooth, with a lovely touch of red fruit and a touch of light spice. We can safely say that this red wine is smooth and truly suitable for everyone.
