Manual Harvest for the Jean Leon 3055

Every September, the Jean Leon team tastes the Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes daily. When they reach perfect ripeness, they are harvested by hand. The Merlot is picked first, followed by the Petit Verdot. Both grape varieties are vinified separately before being blended. After blending, the wine is aged for two months in oak barrels in Jean Leon's cellars, absorbing the rich notes of the oak without losing its softness.
