This red wine from the Clasico winery Ventisquero is made primarily from Syrah grapes with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. This gives the Ventisquero Syrah plenty of bite but also a touch of softness, which is also clearly noticeable in the aroma, where we discovered hints of black fruit, pepper, plums, and blackberries. The palate is perfectly balanced, with a lovely ripe attack and abundant blackberry and cherry flavors complemented by spices like pepper, cinnamon, and bay leaf.
