2022 was an excellent year for the Veneto region, scoring 91 points on the Robert Parker scale. The wines from this vintage have an excellent structure and are still developing well.

This top-notch wine is the luxury sibling of Lenotti's well-known Rosso Passo. It's a wine with a golden edge. Collezione in Bottle is a flagship wine from the Lenotti family, made from Merlot and Sangiovese grapes from the Veneto wine region. Complex structure, fullness, and ripeness are the key words for this Lenotti showpiece.

The old Lenotti winery

Lenotti Winery was founded in 1906 by the Lenotti family. Initially, they focused on the production and sale of barrel-aged wine. Later, they transitioned to producing quality wines exclusively bottled. Today, it remains a true family business. Giancarlo Lenotti is the oenologist, production manager, and facilitator; Marina Lenotti is the sales manager for the domestic market; and their son, Claudio, is the export manager. Innovation is a key element at the winery, and in 2005, they completely renovated and modernized the vinification process, barrel storage, and bottling plant. This allowed Giancarlo Lenotti (father of the family and oenologist) to use significantly lower amounts of sulfites in the bottling plant. The positive result is that the wines retain their original aromas right through to the glass. Try it yourself, open a Lenotti wine and pour it straight into a glass, you will be surprised by the many aromas.

The harvest and taste of Rosso Passo Collezione in Bottle Lenotti

The grapes are grown on the hills east of Lake Garda. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed. The grapes are partially dried and then aged in oak barrels. This wine has a complex structure and rich colors, full-bodied and well-balanced. On the nose, this Rosso Passo Collezione in Bottle has hints of berries and a delicate touch of oak. Velvety and harmonious in taste, it boasts a complex structure. This red wine pairs wonderfully with roast and grilled meats or a delicious cheese platter.
