Open this bottle and you'll be hooked. You won't want anything else. Deep, heavy, full-bodied, and full of character. This wine has so much complexity, you'll practically fall in love with it. Start with the smell, and it's a celebration in itself. You could sniff this glass of Borges Quinta de Soalheira Tinto Douro ten times, and ten times you'd find something different. You'll smell fruit like plums, black cherries, and figs. But also vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of sweet balsamic. The magnificent aroma alone makes us thirsty. The taste is full and voluminous. The 9 to 12 months of oak aging has clearly done its job. You'll taste a whole spectrum of flavors: cherries, plums, figs, vanilla, and cocoa.
