The 2022 vintage in the Jura has been rated an excellent vintage with 91 points. Wines from this vintage mature early and are already very accessible.

A beautiful blend made from traditional grapes from the Arbois region. A blend of Pinot Noir, Trousseau, and Poulsard. Each grape variety lends its unique character to this delicious red wine. The vines are planted in the communes of Arbois and Montigny. The soils consist primarily of red marl and greasy gravel, giving the wine its distinctive character.

12 months of wood aging for Domaine Rolet Rouge Tradition

The Rolet estate spans over 64 hectares in the Jura, Arbois appellation. The wines are all of a high caliber, reflecting both the region's diverse terroirs and grape varieties, and an inimitable style, made of freshness, drinkability, and precision. The Poulsard and Trousseau grapes provide the necessary fruitiness, while the Pinot Noir contributes complexity and freshness. The grapes are vinified separately to ensure that the identity and terroir are fully expressed. First, the grapes are harvested entirely by hand. This allows for the selection of the grapes in the vineyards themselves, which naturally enhances the final quality. The wines are aged separately in wooden barrels for 12 months. This preserves the character of each grape variety, and after three months, the wines are blended and bottled.
