The Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label, also known as the 12 Meses or Etiqueta Plata, represents the heritage and innovation of the Juan Gil family business, established in Jumilla since 1916. This wine, made from Monastrell grapes grown in vineyards over 50 years old, embodies Juan Gil's commitment to quality and sustainability.
Organic wines from Juan Gil
The Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label is not only a showcase of craftsmanship in the wine world, but also of care for our planet. Juan Gil's commitment to sustainable energy, with solar panels and wind turbines, and their rejection of irrigation and chemicals, makes the Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label proudly certified organic and vegan. This dedication to sustainability and quality is deeply rooted in Juan Gil's philosophy and is reflected in every bottle of Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label. Monastrell grapes are grown at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. The climate features long, very hot summers with abundant sunshine and long, very cold winters. It's not an easy place for grape growing. Production is therefore very low, but the grapes that survive are highly concentrated and of very high quality. The grapes are destemmed in the winery, followed by maceration in stainless steel tanks. The grapes also ferment in stainless steel tanks. Finally, they are aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The aromas of Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label
The Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label emanates a beautiful deep purple in the glass. This color is just a taste of the richness and complexity this wine has to offer. Upon tasting, the senses are captivated by a rich bouquet of aromas. Red and black fruits, such as juicy red currants and ripe blackberries, are complemented by delicate notes of smoky wood and subtle hints of espresso. This combination of aromas creates a wine that is both complex and captivating. But the real highlight comes on the finish, where refined tannins emerge, confirming the quality and craftsmanship behind the Juan Gil Jumilla Silver Label. These tannins are perfectly integrated, giving the wine a silky texture that further enhances the tasting experience.Product details
