Carignan is a beautiful grape and enjoys great popularity among winemakers. A beautiful winery in the absolute top segment is Rothschild from France, but also consider Palombe, Guillaume, Paul Mas, Domaine de la Clapiere, Domaine la Pommiere, and even Mapu. The most popular wine made from this Carignan is Blason d'Aussieres Corbieres Lafite Rothschild. The Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) winery has earned its status in Bordeaux, as they still produce some of France's finest and most famous wines. Paul Mas Le Rose is another example.
