Corette was founded by the young winemakers Catherine and Laurent Delaunay. This famous duo made a splash in Burgundy. Afterward, they decided to settle in the Côtes du Rhone. However, their southern descent wasn't over yet. A few years ago, they purchased a beautiful estate in Languedoc-Roussillon. This vast wine region, the largest in France, had a questionable reputation until the 1980s. However, thanks to the dedication and collaboration of leading wineries, including Corette, the quality has risen astronomically. The secret of this Corette red wine lies in the passion and craftsmanship of the winemakers. After harvest, the Cabernet Sauvignon bunches are macerated for a long time, including the skins. This gives this Corette Cabernet Sauvignon a vibrant aroma and flavor. To further emphasize the Cabernet Sauvignon's power, a small portion of the precious juice is aged in oak for six months. This creates a generous yet robust bouquet. You'll recognize lush forest fruits, notes of cinnamon and bay leaf, a hint of mint, and a touch of green pepper.
