In 1141, the Ricasoli family acquired Brolio Castle, located in authentic Tuscany. Currently, Francesco Ricasoli, the 32nd Baron, is at the helm of Barone Ricasoli. Ricasoli is still renowned for its impeccable wines and is considered one of the most important producers in the Chianti region.

This Antico Feudo Della Trappola is made with three grape varieties: the renowned Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the indigenous Sangiovese. The grapes are fermented separately and then blended. The wine is then aged for eight to nine months until it is ready for bottling.
