The St. Kilian winery has a long history of producing the finest wines from the Mosel region. The winery also holds the "Qualitätswein" designation, which indicates the quality of certain wines. The vineyards for this Bernkastel region are situated on the best slopes in the Mosel region and guarantee a top-notch harvest. The grapes receive plenty of sunshine because the vineyard is planted facing south. The old vines produce truly beautiful bunches, making the wine surprising and very flavorful.

Once the grapes have reached their full ripeness, they are harvested early in the morning. St. Kilian does this to protect the grapes from oxidation and to prevent damage to the bunches.
