This Primitivo is produced from the highest quality grapes from Puglia. Thanks to Botter's careful winemaking, it has become a high-quality Italian wine with beautiful nuances in aroma and taste.

The organic vineyards of Botter

Carlo Botter founded the eponymous winery in the Veneto region in 1928. It began as a small business trading local Veneto wines. Carlo and his wife then decided to purchase a small winery and some land. This also marked the beginning of Botter's own wine bottling business. Now, the third generation is at the helm, and they produce organic wines from their 60 hectares of land in Veneto and Fruili. But the winery doesn't limit itself to this. They also vinify grapes from estates throughout Italy. It is a truly national winery with a wide range of diverse wines. Primitivo grapes thrive in a warm climate. The vineyards receive ample rainfall year-round, allowing the grapes to ripen evenly and develop their beautiful characteristics. When they reach optimal ripeness, they are carefully harvested. Traditional vinification follows, with the controlled extraction of tannins and fruit. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and oak, followed by several months in bottle.
