This delicious Zuccardi Valles Torrontes white wine is made from 100 percent Torrontes grapes. The grapes are grown in the Uca Valley vineyard at an altitude of 900 meters. The Uca Valley in Mendoza is a major wine-growing region in Argentina, nestled at the foot of the Andes. Here, we find perfect conditions for winegrowing, and Zuccardi is now taking full advantage of them.

The vineyards of Zuccardi

The Zuccardi estate, located in Mendoza, Argentina, is renowned for its excellent wines. Sebastián Zuccardi, the third-generation winemaker in the Zuccardi family, has led the company since January 2000. The estate's history began in 1963 when Sebastián's grandfather planted the first hectare of vines in Maipú. Today, the estate comprises over 200 hectares of vineyards at the foot of the Andes Mountains, whose wines reflect the rich terroir of the Uco Valley. The vineyards are planted with various grape varieties, including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. Zuccardi wines are praised for their complexity, elegance, and ripeness, and have frequently been nominated for prestigious international awards. The Zuccardi family remains committed to innovation and sustainability in their winemaking processes. The grapes for Valles Torrontes are harvested by hand at peak ripeness. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery for further processing. Here, the grapes are pressed, and the juice is cooled and clarified to achieve clarity. Fermentation then begins at a low temperature to preserve the grapes' aromas and flavors. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months before bottling.
