Its main vineyards are located around the village of Manduria, but the winery has also invested heavily in the Salento area. Here, Zolla planted Chardonnay vines a few years ago. The location is perfect; the sun works overtime here. And it is precisely the sun that gives this delicious Zolla Chardonnay its phenomenal aroma and flavor. Fortunately, the Adriatic and Ionian Seas provide the necessary freshness at night with a gentle sea breeze. The result is a delicious, well-balanced white wine.
Expectations were sky-high. We're now familiar with the high quality of Zolla red wines. We were afraid our high expectations would be disappointed. Fortunately, all our fears were unfounded. As soon as we removed the cork, it became clear that this Zolla Chardonnay had everything it took to become a perfect wine. Fresh, fruity, and bursting with flavor. The ripe yellow fruit lands pleasantly on the palate, making you want to take another sip. This emphasizes the wine's pleasantness, which is entirely in line with all Zolla wines.
