After the successful Von Winning Pinot Noir I and its successor, Von Winning Pinot Noir II, it's now time for the evolved version. Von Winning Pinot Royale offers the very best of the previous wines. A gem of a wine, sourced from the breathtaking vineyards of Palatinate. Anyone unfamiliar with this wine would almost think, during a blind tasting, that we were dealing with a Pinot Noir from Burgundy. However, this fantastic red wine was developed by one of the most prominent wineries in Palatinate: Weingut Von Winning. A winery with a moving history; the only common thread is their unparalleled wines. Wine has been grown in the vineyards of Weingut von Winning for over a century and a half. These German wines certainly don't lack craftsmanship.

What does Von Winning Pinot Royale taste like?

The German answer to an expressive Pinot Noir from Burgundy. As mentioned, we could hardly believe this was a German wine. It has so much aroma and flavor. A level of elegance that many wines can't match. The aroma alone makes us swoon: cranberry, dried red fruit, and a hint of vegetal: exactly as a Pinot Noir should be. The slightly spicy character betrays the oak aging of Von Winning Pinot Royale. The taste reminds us of a top Pinot Noir. All the aspects are present: the robust earthy notes, the ripe red fruit, and a certain spiciness that many would envy. A must-try with duck breast.
