The Glera grape for this Prosecco is grown in a beautiful hilly area. The hills provide shelter, and the vines are deeply rooted in chalky soils with loam and clay. This terroir allows the Glera grapes to develop a unique character. The grapes are given the time to ripen in the ideal climate and are then carefully harvested. Because only the best is good enough. A gentle pressing follows in the winery. This is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. A second fermentation with selected yeasts follows, enhancing all the aromas. Fermentation is stopped when the required alcohol and sugar levels are reached.
With fine bubbles and a straw-yellow color, Il Fresco shines in the glass. The aromas immediately leap out of the glass. We note fresh apples, pears, and a hint of melon. The palate is delightfully fresh with a slightly spicy note. It strikes a perfect balance between sweet and sour, resulting in an incredibly smooth palate. A generous, yet above all, delicious Prosecco, perfect for toasting or serving with light meals.
