Terra d'Alter showcases its expertise in Alentejo, the vast Portuguese wine region where this magnificent winery has its vineyards. This white wine is a showpiece. A must-try. Four grape varieties are combined here, and the result is irresistible. This blend consists of Sira, Verdelho, Arinto, and Viognier, the four grape varieties primarily grown in Terra d'Alter's vineyards. Each grape contributes to the incredible quality of this glass of Portuguese white wine. Fantastic!

Before founding Terra d'Alter, winemaker Peter Bright gained extensive experience in vineyards in South America and South Africa. It was precisely his exceptional expertise that made Terra d'Alter's wines such a resounding success. In 1992, Peter was named Red Wine Maker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge, and his wines truly live up to this title.

The grapes are hand-picked and rigorously selected. Only the finest juice ultimately makes it into the Terra d'Alter Branco Reserva. After fermentation, this Portuguese white wine is aged for eight months on its own lees. This gives the wine more fullness and body. Intense aromas rise from the glass: ripe melon, juicy peaches and apricots, and a hint of vanilla. This already smells like a delicious glass of white wine. The Terra d'Alter Branco Reserva has a broad and robust flavor palette. The wine is full-bodied and has a robust, creamy character. Ripe tropical fruits, stone fruit, and vanilla combine to create a successful glass of Portuguese white wine. A must-have for any wine lover. Because although Portugal is somewhat less well-known as a wine country, it's these kinds of wines that are putting it on the map.
