This fluid work of art is the result of a harmonious collaboration between Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, each contributing its own unique character and depth to the wine.

Wood aging for Lucente Toscana

Lucente Toscana is a powerful red wine from Italy, made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese grapes. The vineyards where these grapes grow are located on sandstone soils in beautiful Tuscany. As soon as the grapes are ripe, they are immediately transported to the winery. There, they are carefully sorted and crushed. They then undergo fermentation at controlled temperatures. After this step, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. This process results in a wine that is both complex and captivating, with a unique character that reflects the essence of Tuscany. Tenuta Luce's Lucente Toscana has a deep purple color that stands out in the glass. A swirl reveals this red wine's intense richness, evident in the color that lingers around the rim. Sniffing it reveals aromas of black cherry, morello cherries, and plums, along with notes of walnut, toasted hazelnut, and roasted almond.
