Savian's wines are 100% organic, including red and white wines, Processo, and sparkling wine. It all began in 1925 when founder Marco Savian acquired a small four-hectare farm. Today, the estate encompasses 42 hectares nestled between the Livenza and Tagliamento rivers. This is where the provinces of Venice, Pordenone, and Treviso meet. The climate here is perfect for viticulture. The heat of the day alternates with cool nighttime breezes, cooling the grapes and allowing them to ripen perfectly. Since 1993, the company has been 100% organic, driven by the belief that a good product must be of high quality while also protecting the environment. They achieve this through continuous improvement and innovation.
They use organic farming methods to reduce energy, water, and material consumption throughout the entire winemaking process. From vine to bottle, only the very best grapes are selected for this Savian Prosecco. The grapes are brought to the winery, where they undergo another selection process. This is the only way they claim to guarantee high quality. The Prosecco Spumante Doc Extra Dry is made using the Charmat method. The second fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 14 degrees Celsius. This results in a delicate wine with unique aromas.
Its straw-yellow color in the glass immediately reveals floral aromas of acacia, broom, and gentian with a light, vegetal note of sage and mint. The palate reveals fruity notes of grapefruit, pineapple, and golden apple. It is smooth and pleasantly lively on the palate.
