The sparkling wines of Rotari

Rotari Winery has been a leader in northern Italy since its founding. It is located in Trentino Alto Adige, a region in the far north of Italy. This wine region is characterized by freshness and purity, qualities that are also clearly evident in Rotari wines. Rotari is part of perhaps Italy's finest winery, Mezzacorona. They produce exquisite wines in every region of Italy, from Puglia to Veneto and from Sicily to Trentino Alto Adige. Rotari is one of their flagship wines. It specializes in sparkling wines, a skill they have mastered. They are sometimes called the Italian equivalent of the popular French Champagne. This is partly due to Rotari's vineyards. Their vineyards primarily produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the two main ingredients in Champagne.
