From the very beginning, Piper Heidsieck was destined to conquer the rich and famous of Hollywood. Founder Florens-Louis Heidsieck established the champagne house in 1785. He had a singular mission: not to become the biggest, the tastiest, or the most beautiful. He had only one goal—an ambitious one, to be precise. He wanted none other than society queen Marie-Antoinette to taste Piper Heidsieck champagne and make her fall in love with its elegant style. After a single sip, she was sold, and Piper Heidsieck was officially presented to the French Court, which only adds to the meaning of the saying, "Let them eat cake."
More than two centuries have passed since Piper Heidsieck's founding, and they're still conquering the world. Since the champagne house's inception, its renowned bottles have repeatedly graced the faces of Hollywood stars who were relevant to the times. It began with Marilyn Monroe, but Lauren & Hardy, John Cusack, Coppola, Al Pacino, Enfant-terrible Jean Paul Gaultier, and the Netherlands' pride, Viktor & Rolf, are also associated with the magnificent champagne bottles with their red labels.
This gift box contains two original glasses and, of course, a genuine bottle of Piper Heidsieck Brut. An elegant blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, the three of which elevate the Piper Heidsieck Brut to spectacular heights. With Pinot Noir taking center stage, Piper Heidsieck Brut is exceptionally fresh with hints of pear, carom, and citrus. All of this is enveloped in the dreamy aroma of freshly baked brioche.
