The grapes for this Pinotage are harvested from 26- and 27-year-old vineyard blocks with bush vines in the Paarl region. The soil in these vineyards is deep and has a strong structure. What's special is that no irrigation is used, making the vines entirely dependent on winter rainfall for their water needs.
