The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A beautiful Reserva Chardonnay crafted by Miguel Torres Andica with a specific vision. This wine honors the natural expression and biodiversity of Chile. This 100% certified organic wine is made with the utmost respect for the Chilean ecosystems where the Chardonnay grapes are grown. And that translates into this tropical wine with elegant notes.

In 1870, brothers Jaime and Miguel Torres founded the Torres winery. They were based in Penedes, Spain. In 1979, they decided to expand and established Miguel Torres Chile and Marimar Estate in the Sonoma region of the United States. This made them the first foreign wine company to establish a presence in Chile. Besides their love for Chile's beautiful landscape, Torres also focused on new winemaking technologies. Today, the winery has become an organically certified operation. The brothers also continued to expand in Spain, acquiring land in the Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Jumilla, and Prioratto regions. Today, the fifth generation is at the helm, and their reputation has grown worldwide. Early in the morning around February, the Chardonnay grapes are carefully harvested. They are given time to fully ripen before being transported to the winery. The grapes then arrive at the winery, where they undergo rigorous sorting on the sorting tables. Only the finest bunches are finally pressed. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is given the necessary rest, and finally, we can enjoy a beautiful, top-notch Chilean Chardonnay.

The Reserva Chardonnay made for Miguel Torres is a bright yellow wine with beautiful greenish reflections in the glass. The aromas are delightfully tropical, with mango, pineapple, and guava. On the palate, it's a full-bodied and creamy white wine with beautiful notes of tropical fruit, with mango clearly predominating. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of vanilla. An accessible wine that can be enjoyed perfectly on its own, or paired with fresh fish or light meats.

More about Torres Chili

Buy or order Torres Chile wine The story of this Chilean winery begins, surprisingly enough, in Spain at the end of the 19th century. Torres Senior, a Spanish winemaker, had completed his training in France and planted the first vineyards in Penedes, northeastern Spain.
