McPherson Wines was founded in 1968 and has since grown into a major player in the wine world. McPherson wines are exported worldwide and are synonymous with high-quality wines. The vineyards are located in Southern Australia, in Central Victoria and Murray Darling. The focus is on popular varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Shiraz. Andrew McPherson and his wife currently manage the estate, where they oversee the state-of-the-art winery, built in 2000. Their goal remains to produce delicious wines at competitive prices.

A fresh and lively Pinot Grigio

The Pinot Grigio grapes are grown in Murray Darling's vineyards. They are carefully harvested around March. The juice is removed from the skins early to ensure perfect color. The juice is then cool-fermented to preserve the grapes' delicate character. The wine is then ready for bottling. The entire process, from harvest to bottle, takes less than ten weeks, ensuring the wine remains wonderfully fresh and vibrant. The McPherson Pinot Grigio boasts a bright appearance in the glass. On the nose, this fresh wine displays aromas of pear and citrus. These aromas are also evident on the palate, where it combines with savory notes. The finish is a pleasant addition to the palate of this refreshing Pinot Grigio. This white wine pairs perfectly with anything from the sea: fish tacos, light pasta, or Asian salads.
