We couldn't imagine life without La Villette Winery, and this beautiful, light pink La Villette Rose is no exception. The name La Villette has a fascinating history. La Villette is an old Parisian neighborhood from which all of Paris was once supplied with wine and food. This was done by boat or horse-drawn carriage. The label of this wine bottle also refers to this. The river on which the boats sailed with supplies is depicted on the label. La Villette wines are made using the Vin de France label. This means that grapes from different regions may be blended together. La Villette Rose is made from Cinsault and Grenache Noir. The vineyards for this delicious rosé are located in the Carcassonne region. Not Provence, but certainly worthy of Provence!

The scent and taste of La Villette Rose

La Villette Rosé is one of the best-selling rosé wines in this price range. Although this rosé doesn't originate from Provence, the price doesn't make much of a difference. The color is a beautiful salmon pink and makes us swoon just thinking about it being poured like that. The aroma is a wonderful summer experience! Beautiful aromas of raspberries and strawberries balanced by a subtle hint of citrus. The taste is wonderfully refreshing, just as we expected. The delicious nuances of young red fruit combined with citrus notes create a fresh summer experience and a pleasant finish. What an enchanting rosé in this price range!

What do we eat at La Villette Rosé?

Of course, this La Villette rosé is wonderful on a sunny terrace. But you can also use it with various wine and food pairings, such as fresh tuna, a delicious salad with chicken or fish, or a nice piece of veal.
