The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A successful glass of white wine from Alsace. Alsace is considered a very elegant wine region. It is located in northeastern France, below the famous city of Strasbourg. The use of grape varieties is striking. Noble varieties like Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Pinot Gris are found nowhere else in the world as much as in Alsace. The dry and sunny climate is ideal for these noble varieties. Pinot Gris forms the basis for this Kuehn wine. This grape is a chic lady in the vineyards, and Kuehn has perfectly translated this into a perfect wine.

Founded in 1675, Kuehn Winery remains a leading winery in Alsace after all these years. Its vineyards primarily cultivate classic grape varieties, including Pinot Gris. A beloved grape with a distinctive character, the warm climate allows Pinot Gris to develop exceptionally well. After harvest, the juice is fermented in stainless steel. This preserves Kuehn Pinot Gris's refreshing freshness. However, this exquisite juice is also aged on its own yeast cells, known as the lees.

Pinot Gris wines make many wine lovers' mouths water. This characterful grape has dominated wine cellars for years. However, Kuehn's Pinot Gris will amaze you. A resounding success, hailing from Kuehn's impressive cellars. This white wine is elegant, opulent, and stunningly beautiful. Upon pouring, the swirling bouquet greets your nose. You smell ripe pear and tropical melon. Swirl Kuehn Pinot Gris generously in the glass, and notes of apricot and peach emerge. The opulent aroma tempts you to take a sip. Wow, wow, wow. Let the party begin. Fine acidity lifts your spirits, and juicy fruit rolls over your tongue. The invigorating character is almost legendary.
