Famille Perrin is a must-see if you want to explore the Rhône wine region. Located in the town of Orange, north of Avignon in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the winery has a long history of producing excellent wines. And in terms of value, white wines like this Luberon Blanc from the Côte du Luberon are hard to beat: a cool, elegant wine, fruity yet complex without being demanding.

The perfect blend for Luberon Blanc

The Côte de Luberon lies in the southernmost tip of the Rhône wine region. The Luberon offers similar conditions for wine – warm and sunny here too, and high altitudes help preserve the freshness of the wines. The grapes are planted at high altitudes, enjoying abundant sunshine and cool nights, allowing them to ripen perfectly. The Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, and Ugni Blanc grapes for the Famille Perrin Luberon Blanc are grown in France's oldest wine region: the Rhône. There, they thrive on soils with ancient alluvial deposits from the Alps, limestone marl, clay, and stones. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and rigorously selected in the winery. They are gently pressed and cold macerated for several days. This is followed by temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation, 90 percent in stainless steel vats and 10 percent in new oak barriques. The wine is then transferred to stainless steel tanks to undergo malolactic fermentation and age. Several months later, the wine is bottled.

The smell and taste of Famille Perrin Luberon Blanc

The Perrin family from France values traditional viticulture, combined with organic winemaking methods. A wine that reflects just that: the Famille Perrin Luberon Blanc, sparkling bright yellow with greenish highlights. It captivates the nose with delicate aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits. On the palate, the optimal balance of sweetness and acidity, along with a slightly salty note, leaves you wanting more. The drop is complemented by a lovely length. A fresh, vegetative white wine from the Rhône! We recommend the Famille Perrin Luberon Blanc with appetizers, green gazpacho, fish, seafood, or shellfish.
