The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A thirst-quenching treat, hailing from the Loire Valley. It's no secret that the Loire Valley can master the art of Sauvignon Blanc. However, with this Domaine de la Madeleine Sauvignon de Touraine, they demonstrate that Sauvignon Blanc is truly the queen here. Simply a delicious, refreshing wine with aromas of soft lemon and crisp acidity. A delightful wine for everyone to enjoy every day.

Domaine de la Madeleine Sauvignon de Touraine hails from one of France's most impressive wine regions. Located in the western half of France, along the banks of the Loire River, you'll find the Loire wine region. This region is the foundation for many leading French wines, such as Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. However, the Loire also produces many other fine wines from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. This includes the area around the city of Tours, situated approximately halfway along the Loire River basin. Here, many fine Sauvignon Blanc wines are produced under the Touraine banner. Including this Domaine de la Madeleine Sauvignon de Touraine. A typical Sauvignon Blanc, created in the vineyards near the villages of Oisly and Thesée. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested early in the morning, after which fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. This emphasizes the freshness and invigoration of this Touraine.

A quintessential glass of Sauvignon Blanc, hailing from one of the Loire Valley's most prestigious regions. A glass of Touraine guarantees freshness and invigoration. Its incredibly thirst-quenching character makes Domaine de la Madeleine Sauvignon de Touraine the perfect companion on a sunny spring Sunday. Its slightly effervescent character also makes Domaine de la Madeleine Sauvignon de Touraine an ideal accompaniment to asparagus.
