The passionate owner, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, succeeds year after year in producing the finest Pouilly Fume. The vineyards stretch across the slopes surrounding the winery. There is diverse terroir and a temperate climate with continental features. The soil consists of alternating limestone, flint, and pure limestone, producing unique grapes. Grapes in perfect condition are carefully harvested and selected. Each plot is vinified separately. After a slow fermentation at around 20 degrees Celsius, comes the crucial phase of maturation. The wine rests for six months on the fine lees, which are regularly stirred by hand. The result is a superb wine!
