This beautiful winery, Cascina Fonda, was founded in 1963 by the Barbero family. Over the years, the winery has focused entirely on sparkling wines, including Moscato d'Asti. Founder Mr. Secondino Barbero had a wealth of experience and was uniquely skilled in planting the perfect vines in the area's prime locations. In 1988, brothers Massimo and Marco took over the winery from their father, and today, the finest wines are still produced according to Secondino's long-standing traditions.

The pure passion for Moscato d'Asti

The brothers had long wanted to make a Moscato d'Asti wine during their training period with their father. After the takeover, they began developing their new venture in 1991. They planted Moscato Bianco di Canelli on the best plots in Piedmont. The grapes developed beautifully, and we can taste that now in this beautiful, slightly sweet wine. The vineyards are nestled in the hills between Mango and Neive. Here, a unique climate prevails, and Moscato d'Asti was born.

What does Cascina Fonda Moscato d'Asti taste like?

It's a true delight to drink! The soft bubbles in the glass delight all our senses. The beautiful light golden color has a faint green hue, and it smells wonderful. The ripe aromas give the nose impressions of acacia and lime blossom, as well as hints of peach and apricot. On the palate, the slightly sweet character leaves the tongue feeling pleasant. Ripe flavors of yellow fruit with hints of honey and freshly baked cake.
