Located less than forty kilometers from the metropolis of Barcelona, the winery is always close to the action. Portium's total acreage encompasses a whopping 100 hectares. Brut Manos Cava uses grapes from the finest plots, situated southeast, at altitudes of up to 500 meters. For Brut Manos Cava, the lion's share, 45%, is claimed by d'Macaber. The Perrellada (20%) and Xarel-lo (30%) also have a significant presence in this blend. However, a small piece of Chardonnay has also been added to this cava. This gives Brut Manos Cava some of the allure that is known for Champagne.
