Close your eyes and smell this wine; imagine yourself in the south of France with the warm sunshine on your face. This Chardonnay is grown in the Languedoc wine region of southern France. There, the ancient vines of Les 5 Vallées grow in five different valleys, so you can probably guess where it gets its name from. The climate in the beautiful Chardonnay vineyards is perfect; the mountains retain the warmth in the afternoons, allowing the grapes to ripen properly. Fortunately, there's also a fresh breeze from the mountaintops, which contributes to the perfect balance of warmth and coolness.

Today, the vineyard is mature and produces full, robust bunches. These are harvested mechanically at night at perfect ripeness to prevent oxidation and preserve the natural freshness of the grapes. Once brought in, they are laid out on sorting tables and thoroughly inspected. Only the finest Chardonnay bunches are used in this white wine. But before this, the entire wine is aged for a full three months on the yeast cells, making it fuller and more powerful.

The palate of this Les 5 Vallées Chardonnay is equally stunning, with its ripeness and smoothness. Beautiful hints of yellow fruit like apricots and peach complemented by subtle notes of roasted nuts and vanilla! Delicious!
